The Alexander Hosea Primary Governing Body has 14 Governor positions, comprising:

• 6 Parent Governors
• 1 LA Governor
• 1 Staff Governor
• 1 Head teacher
• 5 Co-opted Governors

The Instrument of Governance of the Governing Body determines the number of Governors within each category.

All Alexander Hosea Primary Governors are members of the Full Governing Body (FGB), except Associate members who are only members of an assigned committee. Associate members do not have voting rights though may attend FGB meetings.
